Shields Donated
Started in Austin, Texas by a Westlake High School student, ATX Face Shields helps combat the COVID-19 virus by providing face shields to essential service workers in Central Texas. The masks are made from donated plastic and printed on local Austin printers.

The current ATX Face Shield is made from 34 grams of plastic, a sheet protector, and two rubber bands. By using these low-cost materials the entire shield can be made for under $1.00.
Shields have been donated to Seton, Baylor Scott & White, Westlake Medical Center, Consulado General de Mexico en Austin, Querencia, Belmont Village, and more.
